Part‑Time Basic Purpose

The Preschool Ministry Director engages, equips, and empowers parents to make disciples of their preschool‑aged children through relational support and quality, Bible‑centered preschool ministry programming. This position provides leadership to the preschool ministry in alignment with Aspire Church’s mission and NextGen strategy. Key Role

Preschool Ministry Leadership

Provide overall leadership and direction for the Preschool Ministry (babies–PreK) at Aspire Church Karen. Serve as a spiritual and moral role model for preschoolers, families, volunteers, and staff. Design and oversee age‑appropriate, Bible‑based programming that reflects Aspire Church’s mission and values. Family Ministry Partnership

Equip parents to be the primary disciplers of their children by providing tools, resources, and relational support. Partner with NextGen staff to ensure preschool ministry aligns with the Gather, Grow, and Go discipleship pathway. Key Responsibilities

Preschool Ministry

Plan and oversee Bible‑centered programming specific to preschool‑aged children. Collaborate with the NextGen Program Team to ensure ministry alignment with church‑wide vision and priorities. Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers serving in preschool ministry environments. Ensure all preschool ministry volunteers complete required background checks and training in accordance with Aspire Church policy. Maintain a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment for preschoolers and families, in coordination with the Facility Director and established church safety policies. Provide pastoral care and support to preschool families during times of transition or crisis. Create engaging and inviting ministry environments through thoughtful organization and stewardship of preschool rooms and resources. Family Engagement

Support initiatives that help parents disciple their children throughout the week, not only during church gatherings. Assist in the development of programs and events that address the needs of families within the Aspire Church Karen community. Participate in assimilation processes that help new families connect to the life of the church. Church‑Wide Collaboration

Collaborate with NextGen leadership to support the development of family ministry across the Aspire Family of Churches. Assist staff teams in developing communication materials related to preschool and NextGen initiatives. Attend required staff and ministry meetings as appropriate for a part‑time role. Other Responsibilities

Lead and live in alignment with Aspire Church beliefs as outlined in the Aspire Church Constitution. Support church‑wide initiatives and events as requested and appropriate. Leadership & Success Factors

Experience in children’s or student ministry required. Experience in educational leadership or early childhood environments preferred. Experience recruiting and leading volunteers strongly preferred.
