About the Mobile Automotive Mechanic/Technician Role As a
Mobile Auto Mechanic/Technician , you’ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their vehicles on the road. This field‑based role is perfect for
skilled technicians
who enjoy independence and variety in their work. You’ll be responsible for performing
preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
on light‑duty vehicles.
Geared up with top‑tier specialty tools and a supportive team that values your
skill, drive and dedication , you’ll tackle new challenges every day and take pride in delivering
safe, reliable and efficient service
that keeps America moving.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
Perform on‑site preventative maintenance, inspections and follow‑up repairs to light‑duty vehicles in a mobile field environment.
Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to
identify and fix issues fast .
Put your expertise to work using
hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
to get the job done right.
Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating
industry‑standard repair times .
Work with
trusted vendors
to source parts and keep operations moving.
Take ownership of a company‑issued service vehicle, perform maintenance and pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance.
Jump in wherever needed – we’re a team that supports each other.
What Makes You a Great Fit
At least
3 years of hands‑on auto tech experience
working on light‑duty vehicles.
Strong communication & customer service skills
– you know how to communicate with customers and provide a top‑notch customer experience.
Comfortable using
mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools
to stay organized and document repairs.
Ready for the outdoors
– rain or shine at customer yards.
Independent, dependable, and self‑motivated
– you take pride in getting the job done right.
A positive attitude and safety‑first mindset.
Must be
23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license .
Bring your
own hand tools
and we’ll supply everything else.
Work Environment
Work in dynamic, high‑traffic areas – safety and precision are key.
Expect exposure to
dust, diesel fumes, and noise
typical of a shop or yard environment.
Safely handle
chemicals, oils, and grease
as part of repair work.
Be ready to
lift, move, and position
heavy equipment or components.
Stay active – you’ll
bend, kneel, crawl, and crouch
