Responsibilities
Perform routine nursing duties under supervision: administer medications and treatments according to care plans, monitor vital signs, assess changes in residents’ conditions, document in electronic health records, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
Participate in assessment‑based care planning, implement wound care and infection control measures, assist with activities of daily living, and support rehabilitation and restorative efforts to promote independence.
Access ongoing education, specialized training in geriatrics, and mentorship from experienced LTC RNs.
