This position works in the Pharmacy service for the Veterinary Hospital. The incumbent ensures safe, effective, and legally compliant drug therapy. Serves as the final check when dispensing inpatient medications, outpatient medications, cytotoxic agents, and compounded preparations to all customers of the VH pharmacy.

Requirements and Preferences
Current enrollment or completion of a two‑year pharmacy technician training program.
Prefer experience working in a veterinary pharmacy in a veterinary teaching hospital.
Required Skills
Competency in inpatient cartfill, outpatient prescription filling, sterile and non‑sterile compounding.
Omnicell maintenance, and pharmacy drug pre‑packing.
Ability to complete veterinary prescription orders.
Good customer service.
Good computer skills.
Education and Certification
Current enrollment in or successful completion of a two‑year pharmacy technology associate program with eligibility for CphT certification.
Preferred Experience
Prefer previous working experience in a veterinary pharmacy.
Work Schedule: Saturdays and weekdays as needed.
