Essential Responsibilities
Assist with patient care, post‑operative care, drug administration, controlled drug administration, infectious disease management, and patient coordination.
Perform IV venipuncture, IV and urinary catheter placement.
Calculate and dose medications accurately.
Monitor ill patients and provide needed care.
Communicate effectively with veterinary staff and clients.
Requirements and Preferences
At least 1 year experience as a veterinary technician or assistant in a specialty hospital.
Strong communication skills.
Valid NC driver’s license not required.
