Immediate need for a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Transplant Unit (7N). This is a Full-time, Night Shift opportunity and is located in Augusta, Georgia (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Residency Program Structure:
Sequential Phases: System Orientation, Core Nursing Onboarding, Specialty (Transplant) Onboarding, and monthly NRP sessions.
Dedicated Support: From Unit Managers, Professional Nurse Educators, Assistant Nurse Managers, and trained Unit-Based Preceptors.
Development Focus: Professional role transition, strengthened clinical skills, critical thinking, and preparation for independent practice.
Exemplary Practice: Learn to perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to transplant patients.
Teamwork & Collaboration: Coordinate safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on communication and a respectful clinical environment.
Professional Development: Actively engage in all residency requirements, competency assessments, and educational sessions. Begin developing preceptorship skills.
Evidence-Based Practice: Learn to incorporate research, performance improvement, and safety standards (e.g., TJC goals) into daily practice.
Resources and Support: Develop skills in care planning across the continuum and efficient resource utilization.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Key skills; Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State) or eligible to obtain
Current BLS certification (required upon hire)
Less than 1 year of professional RN experience (New Graduates welcome)
Strong desire to learn and specialize in transplant nursing
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN) is required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
urrent RN License in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License (or must obtain prior to start).
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
Less than 1 year of professional RN experience is required.
This position is ideal for New Graduate RNs.
Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
Ability to begin developing critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills; Epic/3M experience is a plus.
