Registered Nurse – Trauma Unit
Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) – Trauma Unit. This is a Full Time – Days Shift opportunity located in Augusta, GA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.
Compensation Pay Range: $33 – $59/hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the care team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Advocate for patients and support a positive care environment
Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives
Uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional nursing standards
Support professional development of peers and team members
Engage in shared governance activities and councils
Perform other related duties as assigned
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Skills; Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Effective communication and care coordination skills
Knowledge of patient safety, confidentiality, and professional standards
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care team
Commitment to professional competence and continuous learning
Participation in shared governance and performance improvement initiatives
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire)
Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
