Greenville, SC salary range $61,700.00–$80,925.00
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and upkeep landscape and grounds at SC Training Sites (Fountain Inn 30 acres, Hodges 30 acres, Donaldson Center/AASF #2 Greenville FMS Shop Greenville).
Perform mowing, edging, grass maintenance, weed control, shrub bed maintenance, pruning and trimming of trees and shrubs.
Operate equipment and tools such as agricultural tractors, industrial lawn mowers, weed‑eaters, chainsaws, edgers, trimmers, blowers and other landscaping machinery.
Maintain roads and grounds, including operation of small and heavy equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment.
Transport and haul equipment to perform daily job functions.
Qualifications
High school diploma and trade experience directly related to the area of employment.
Valid South Carolina driver’s license.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, stand for long periods; climb ladders, stairs and scaffolding; lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs; work in confined spaces, hot, hazardous, noisy locations and adverse weather.
Participation in on‑call program and willingness to work after hours.
