Essential Functions

Assist adults with physical and developmental disabilities in daily living activities, including dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Pickup/drop off clients from/to home or facility and facilitate community integration activities.

Support clients in developing and practicing life skills such as mobility training, work, and community participation.

Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.

Assist clients with personal care, including grooming and changing undergarments.

Prepare and assist with meal preparation and cleaning.

Report incidents or problems and communicate daily with administrators.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED.

3+ years of professional or personal experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities (e.g., autism) or mental illnesses (e.g., bipolar) with challenging behaviors preferred.

Valid in‑state driver’s license, over 21, current registration and insurance; driving record with no more than 2 points in last 3 years.

Preferred or willing to obtain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) within first 6 months.

Must have First Aid/CPR certification.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, and kneeling.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
