The Manager of Radiology provides leadership and direction for the day-to-day operational management of one or more diagnostic imaging services. This includes maintaining and nurturing good rapport with medical staff and other UAMS employees. Benefits and Perks

Bachelor's in Science - Radiology Plus Five (5) years as a working technologist National Certification (any discipline (ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS, etc.)) Licensed by the ADH if applicable State of Arkansas Radiography license Responsibilities
Provides leadership and direction for the day-to-day operational management of Interventional Radiology services. This includes maintaining and nurturing good rapport with medical staff and other UAMS employees. Performs some of the human resource management, including recruitment & retention, analyzing staff mix and deploying staff, ensuring competency of staff through development and regular evaluation, and providing disciplinary counseling. Promotes and nurtures team building and career growth to maximize productivity and job satisfaction. This includes the willingness and ability to perform clinical work with direct reports when appropriate. Ensure customer satisfaction by analyzing customer complaints, concerns, and suggestions, and providing appropriate follow-through. Monitors the operating budget; collaborates with supply chain to maintain proper stock levels, reviews and reports significant variances; works with coders to maximize reimbursement and assure appropriate billing practices; develops and promotes measures to stay within budget. Plans and organizes staff & facilities to meet patient needs. Provides leadership training on all new technologies. Evaluates the quality of images, procedures, and services. Ensure cost-effective operations and value to the patient. Ensures all regulatory requirements are met, including State, Federal, & Joint Commission requirements. Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Administrative Director and/or the Assistant Director. Salary
