Registered Nurse (RN) – Mission Health: Onaga Health and Rehab
Full‑time registered nurse position located in Onaga, KS at Onaga Health and Rehab. Required to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents in a rehabilitation setting.
Pay Range Base pay: $35.00/hr — $38.50/hr. Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.00. Additional comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, short‑ and long‑term disability, FSA, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, CEU reimbursement, and daily pay options.
Responsibilities
Provide total patient care following physician orders and nursing protocols.
Administer medications and treatments, ensuring compliance with narcotic policies and monitoring for side effects.
Document and maintain accurate patient records, including admissions and discharges.
Oversee nursing assistant‑registered (NAR) staff to ensure adherence to care plans.
Identify and report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Deliver excellent customer service, building relationships with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications
Active RN license issued by the Kansas Board of Nursing.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Desire to work with the elderly and provide compassionate care.
Professional, dependable, team‑player attitude.
Effective communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing experience.
Work Schedule Full‑time 12‑hour shifts.
