Location Springfield Residential – 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703
Schedule Mon – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM; includes one evening shift and rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
Providing clinical supervision to staff responsible for delivering services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Overseeing client services and ensuring compliance with established program standards and service delivery objectives.
Auditing client records.
Assisting in interviewing, selecting, evaluating, scheduling, and disciplining assigned staff.
Orienting and training staff.
Serving as a resource to assigned staff in identifying and resolving complex case problems.
Assuming client caseload in response to workload or staffing shortages.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Supervising assigned staff in hospital settings pursuant to a federal grant.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field required.
Current certification as a substance abuse counselor (CADC) or higher licensure (LPC, LSW) in the state of hire required.
3–5 years of clinical experience in the treatment of substance abuse with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Related work experience with a program‑specific population (adolescent/adult) and residential treatment setting required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients.
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read.
Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal to receive, retrieve, and/or audit information and data.
Ability to respond to telephones, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises.
Compensation
Range begins at $70,000 – $97,498 per year.
