h3>Job Overview p>Ultrasound Technologist – OBGYN Specialty at
Axia Women’s Health , Lexington, KY. The position is four days a week (varies) primarily 8:00‑5:00 pm with no on‑call duties, no weekend or holiday shifts.
h3>Responsibilities ul> Provide ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians, including scheduling and patient care during procedures.
Perform routine and diagnostic ultrasound imaging.
Interact with physicians and technical staff to deliver safe and efficient patient care.
Follow guidelines for probe handling and infection control.
Follow examination protocols under the guidance of physicians on duty.
Oversee patient scheduling.
Explain procedures to assure cooperation and optimal test results.
Position patients, select appropriate transducers and machine settings.
Conduct scanning procedures.
Ensure maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
Order and stock all ultrasound supplies.
Maintain all ultrasound records, reports and files.
Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in handling customer interactions.
Perform all other duties as may be assigned from time‑to‑time.
h3>Qualifications ul> Associate’s degree or higher in sonography or related field.
Fully licensed and certified with ARDMS in OBGYN (OB experience preferred).
AR Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification.
Current license to practice in Kentucky.
