What You’ll Do
Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
Provide direct therapy to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and techniques.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with policy.
Participate in departmental initiatives, in-service training, and continuing education.
Contribute to the development of innovative speech therapy programs and services.
What We’re Looking For
Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain it.
One to two years of hospital‑based experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire).
