Dental Hygiene Assistant / Sterilization Technician
Lifetime Dental Care Virginia is looking for a Dental Sterilization Technician/Hygiene Assistant who is kind‑hearted, reliable, and detail‑oriented. Job Duties
Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA and CDC standards
Operate autoclaves and maintain sterilization logs and spore testing records
Maintain organized instrument flow and sterile storage areas
Ensure treatment rooms are properly stocked and turned over efficiently
Monitor supplies and alert team when reordering is needed
Hygiene Assistant Support
Assist hygienists with room setup and breakdown
Prepare patients and rooms for hygiene appointments
Provide patient education
Clinical charting
Coronal polishing
Support patient comfort and flow during busy schedules
Help maintain cleanliness and organization in hygiene areas
