Position Title
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Summary In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans.
Assist in orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
Attend to daily operations of the unit per shift.
Assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
Educational / Vocational Requirements
Graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing.
Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
Experience preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing.
