Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehab (Per Diem) – NBH
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. The PT will manage adult patients, administering, interpreting, and evaluating tests and measurements while planning and modifying treatment programs.
Responsibilities The Physical Therapist is responsible for the administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and measurements. The PT plans and modifies treatment programs for adult patients with clinical competency, as applicable.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred Education:
Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
Minimum Experience:
No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Physical Therapist Level II.
Preferred Experience:
Clinical experience in both outpatient and inpatient care, familiarity with marketing and business, Spanish proficiency.
Licensure:
Current Texas State license prior to orientation for new graduates; all others must hold a current Texas State license.
Certifications / Courses:
Must have active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA) on hire; must obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
