Responsibilities
Teach large (300–500 students) Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics classes as well as upper‑division elective courses.
Demonstrate a documented history of successful teaching of large sections in these areas.
Faculty with interest in Macroeconomics upper‑division teaching are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Economics.
Completion of all doctoral requirements by August 1, 2026.
Strong track record of teaching large‑section principles courses at the SF‑2 level.
Established record of successful teaching at the university level, commensurate with the rank sought, and a demonstrated ability to teach and participate in the Department’s undergraduate program.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
The Department of Economics is the largest department in the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy. It offers undergraduate economics majors and minors, and graduate MS and Ph.D. programs.
