Teaching Faculty I, 9-Month Salaried - Public Health
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Status: Full-Time, Regular
Responsibilities
Teach up to four courses per semester (undergraduate and graduate public health courses such as epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, and introduction to public health), with the possibility of load reductions for program-related service.
Develop and deliver curriculum in both in-person and online formats as needed.
Advise and mentor students, serve on undergraduate honors thesis committees.
Participate in service activities across the program, college, university, community, and profession.
Qualifications Ph.D. or DrPH in Public Health or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in epidemiology and/or experience in applied public health.
Commitment to student-centered learning and applied public health education, with emphasis on evidence-based instruction and meaningful mentorship.
