Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN – Local Traveler

Location : LSTC – Grafton, ND

Work Area : Maplewood/Cedar Grove

Status : Salaried benefitted position

Shift : 12–14 hour shifts, every 4th weekend and every 3rd holiday.

Responsibilities As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing service for people served with intellectual disabilities ranging from medically complex to dual diagnosed. You will assure health care needs/standards are met, provide training on promoting independence, oversee and train medication technicians, conduct acute assessments as well as ongoing comprehensive assessments, provide education to employees, people served, teams and family/guardians, and coordinate with a team of professionals to achieve best possible health outcomes. You will ensure quality nursing is delivered in a home‑like atmosphere with strong leadership, positive role modeling and great teamwork.

Qualifications To be considered for this position you will need to have licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the ND Board of Nursing or registration in another state and eligibility for licensure in ND.
