Ensure total operations comply with state and federal regulations (FDA SOP, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to maintain high production standards. Maintain a high level of customer service and provide a positive donor experience in line with company values. Keep work area clean and professional. Review and confirm donor identification while maintaining confidentiality per SOP. Set up and prepare all equipment and disposable supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures. Label each unit and sample accurately. Execute venipunctures and plasma collection, maintaining highest quality and safety standards. Operate automated plasmapheresis machines and respond to all machine alarms, alerts, donor adverse events, and document exceptions. Monitor donor conditions and employ techniques to ensure donor comfort, safety, and product quality. Maintain proper donor‑to‑product ratio to ensure safety and product quality. Disconnect donor, manage disposal of biohazard waste, and clean spills as per safety protocols. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly calibration/maintenance of automated machines, removing or replacing equipment as needed. Maintain accurate documentation including machine logs. Report unsafe situations and conditions to management. Stock and replenish inventory on plasma carts. Drive training efficiencies to ensure timeliness and compliance. Troubleshoot machine alarms/alerts and perform routine QCs (daily/monthly). Perform other job‑related tasks as assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. State‑required certification or licensing. Minimum three (3) months experience in a medical or health‑care environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completed documentation of training appropriate for duties before independent performance. Strong customer service skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal protocols. Basic computer knowledge and skills. Accurate and complete documentation skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Function effectively in fast‑paced environments with frequent interruptions. Demonstrated consistency, reliability, punctuality, and flexibility. Availability to work daytime, evening, weekend, holiday, and extended shifts. Ability to perform venipuncture. Effective communication skills. Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and pull up to thirty‑five (35) pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel. Use of required personal protective equipment. Exposure to blood‑borne pathogens. Ability to view video display terminal within 18 in. of face for extended periods. Ability to perform tasks up to four (4) hours at a time. Ability to operate in an environment with temperature of -40 °C. Ability to perform precise tasks requiring repetitive small motor skills.
