What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet clients' treatment goals
Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments within required timeframes
Develop and document treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments
Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, offering feedback on cases
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided according to regulatory standards
What is Required (Qualifications)
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as needed
Comfort with providing telehealth services, with training provided
Expertise in diagnostic criteria for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of rehabilitation methods and principles related to mental health and substance use disorder treatment
Familiarity with the challenges faced by individuals with mental health or substance use disorders
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and documentation
Ability to develop and evaluate services within assigned programs
Experience in crisis intervention and management
