A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within school settings. This role involves delivering targeted speech and language therapy services to students, helping them improve communication skills critical for academic and social success.
Responsibilities
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among school-aged children
Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintaining detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Traveling between schools as needed to reach assigned caseloads
Qualifications
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
Knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Flexibility and willingness to travel between locations
Location: This position is based in Middletown, Delaware, with travel required among local schools to support a diverse student population.
