Job Summary This posting will fill multiple positions. Temporary Part‑Time PRN as needed / shifts vary. The In‑House Agency RN Program offers PRN employment for 13‑week intervals. Participants are required to work 36 hours per week for 13 weeks and will be paid a competitive hourly rate plus weekend differentials.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor’s in Nursing, or Master’s in Nursing
Valid RN License
Minimum of 12 months of RN experience in an acute‑care hospital
Experience in the last 12 months must include at least 6 months in a direct patient‑care role in an acute‑care hospital (up to 6 months may be in a management position)
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills
Strong work ethics and accountability
Specialty areas (e.g., Intensive Care, F4 Surgical Trauma) required to pass a pre‑screening test with a minimum score of 80%
Chemotherapy certification may be required to work Oncology units
Work one major holiday and one additional holiday if applicable, in addition to every other weekend throughout the 13‑week RN internal contract period
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or more years of RN experience.
PPE Requirements Employees must be capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment, including N95 masks, Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) or Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPR).
Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care, coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff. The RN will effectively work with patient referral sources, facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, and provide patient education on complex conditions. The RN will work with the individual patient, their families, and providers of care to develop and implement individual health plans.
