Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA - PRN
Location: Lake Bluff, IL
Overview Help Seniors Thrive. Grow Your Skills. Be An Owner. Symbria is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a warm, collaborative senior‑living community in Lake Bluff, IL.
Responsibilities As a PRN PTA, you’ll play a key role in delivering hands‑on therapy and supporting meaningful resident progress. You will:
Carry out treatment plans designed by a Physical Therapist
Deliver engaging, functional mobility and strength‑building interventions
Document treatment notes accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate patient status, observations, and progress to the PT
Partner with a supportive interdisciplinary team who values your insight
Provide PRN support as needed during weekday or weekend shifts
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Active Illinois PTA license
Flexibility for PRN scheduling
A passion for helping older adults achieve meaningful therapy goals
Prior rehab or long‑term care experience is helpful, but not required
