Children's Behavioral Health Technician , based out of a Boys and Girls Club of the Valley location. This is a direct service position working in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley at an assigned site in the greater Phoenix area.
This position will interact directly with the Children and Staff and Families at the Clubs and use the designated prevention model Positive Action while also implementing other clinical approaches based on Club needs. This team member needs to have a passion for working with Children in an afterschool setting, be willing to be an active participant/lead in therapeutic activities, and act as a liaison for Terros Health and these co-locations.

Position Details
Full‑Time Employed: 40 hours/week
M‑F: 11a‑7p
Starting at $19/hr DOE
Location: co‑located within a Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley location in Phoenix, Guadalupe, Peoria or Apache Junction.
Additional Language Differential Pay Available

Responsibilities
Conduct the engagement process with families to identify natural/formal supports as outlined in the Arizona Model, Child and Family Team (CFT) process, and Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) for enrolled families.
Facilitate CFT/Service Plan meetings according to the Arizona Model and RBHA guidelines in order to create individualized service plans as identified by the CFT members.
Ensure families understand the behavioral health process, the role of the CFT Facilitator, and ensure family participation that links them to natural or community‑based supports.
Coordinate and schedule CFT/Service Plan meetings with natural, formal supports, and system stakeholders.
Submit appropriate referrals to clinical outpatient services within agency and other behavioral health providers identified by the CFT.
Update and maintain electronic medical records on each case which include but are not limited to Annual Assessment Update, RBHA demographics, Child and adolescent service intensity instrument (CALOCUS), and CFT/Service Plan.
Complete strength assessments and crisis/safety plans with families according to RBHA and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) guidelines.
Develop positive supportive relationships with consumers, family, stakeholders, and other Terros employees and Boys and Girls Club employees. Actively lead group prevention or therapeutic group activities at assigned Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley locations.
This position is funded by a grant, which is for a pre‑determined timeframe.
