Schedule: 7 on 7 offer A week Monday-Friday 1300-2100 Saturday and Sunday 1400-2100

Job Summary Position requires knowledge of imaging techniques for all areas of ultrasound: OB/GYN, Abdominal, Small Parts, Breast (site specific) Vascular, OR and Procedure in accordance with ACR guidelines and department specific policies. Assists with providing 24/7 coverage of the Ultrasound Service with rotating Saturdays, holidays and call coverage.
Experience One Year Of Current Clinical Experience Is Preferred.
Education Graduate or a student in an accredited program recognized by CHEA, USDOE or CMA, specifically for diagnostic medical sonography / diagnostic cardiac sonography / vascular technology. Preferable Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound/Sonography. Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry will be accepted.
Special Skills Candidate must be proficient with ultrasound equipment and have basic knowledge of patient care equipment. Familiarity with McKesson PACS, Epic EMR is preferred.
Licensure Sonographers must be registry eligible through the ARDMS. Must be registered in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB) and Vascular (VT). Breast registration required at sites that perform Breast Ultrasound. Registries not obtained at hire must be completed every 9 months until all registries are complete. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
