This job is ON - SITE. This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus of $7500. Shift 3: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 pm to 7 am. Competitive pay with both 3rd‑shift and facility differential ($2.00 + $2.25). Three 10‑hour shifts on weekends give you plenty of flexibility during the week. Monthly QA meetings for US staff provide 1 CME credit each – attending regularly can earn you enough credits to meet the 3‑year requirement. Continual support from management, US 3rd‑shift staff at other hospitals in CHD, and other modalities onsite.

Job Summary Position requires knowledge of imaging techniques for all areas of ultrasound: OB/GYN, Abdominal, Small Parts, Breast (site specific), Vascular, OR and Procedure in accordance with ACR guidelines and department‑specific policies. Assists with providing 24/7 coverage of the Ultrasound Service with rotating Saturdays, holidays and call coverage.

Qualifications

One year of current clinical experience preferred.

Graduate or a student in an accredited program (CAAHEP or CMA). Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound/Sonography preferred. Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry accepted.

Proficient with ultrasound equipment and basic knowledge of patient‑care equipment.

Familiarity with McKesson PACS, Epic EMR preferred.

Registry eligibility through the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).

Registered in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB) and Vascular (VT). Breast registration required at sites that perform Breast Ultrasound. Each registry not obtained at hire must be completed every 9 months until all registries are complete.

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
