is an innovative leader delivering person‑centered home and community‑based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are hiring a Certified Direct Support Professional II (DSP II) caregiver for the Whittier location.

Job Details:

Job Title: Certified Direct Support Professional II Caregiver (DSP2)

Hourly Rate: $21.00‑$24.00

Shift: AM / PM / NOC

Employment: Full‑time / Part‑time

Location: Whittier, CA

MUST have DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates

Responsibilities:

Assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living activities as outlined in the Individual Program Plan.

Support personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and bathroom needs.

Prepare and serve meals, and manage clean‑up.

Transport clients in company vans, as needed.

Redirect challenging behaviors using activities such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

CPR/First Aid, CPI, and DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates.

RBT certification required within 6 months of hire.

At least 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses.

Valid California driver’s license, age 21+, current registration and insurance, driving record with no more than 2 points in the last 3 years.

Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 50 lbs., work indoors/outdoors in all weather.
