Our client is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for their Oncology clinic.
Location: Webster, TX 77598
Shift: Monday – Friday 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Rate: $50.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Develop and execute individualized care plans based on nursing theory and patient needs.
Adjust plans proactively to meet departmental and patient requirements.
Review lab values and evaluate treatment toxicity before medication administration.
Maintain legible, concise, accurate, and timely medical records in EMR (Epic preferred).
Complete clinical logs and ensure accurate charge documentation.
Accurately administer medications (IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral) per physician orders.
Start peripheral IVs, access CVADs (including port‑a‑caths), and follow safe practice guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate from an approved RN program.
Current Texas RN license.
BLS certification (American Heart Association).
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course (within 3 months of hire).
Proficient in IV therapy, CVAD access, and infusion equipment.
