Professional Development & Coaching Specialist
Position Summary
The PD & Coaching Specialist leads professional learning and instructional coaching to ensure high-fidelity curriculum implementation across all RCSD PreK sites.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver professional development aligned to curriculum implementation
Facilitate minimum 12 hours of initial PD and ongoing refresher training
Conduct coaching cycles (minimum two per semester)
Provide classroom modeling, observation, and feedback
Support educators implementing SEL, Pyramid Model, and inclusive practices
Deliver training in English and Spanish (as required)
Support administrators with instructional leadership strategies
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Education or Early Childhood Education
8–12 years of PD delivery and instructional coaching experience
Expertise in adult learning theory and coaching methodologies
Experience in culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices
Compensation
$90.00 per hour
