Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer, you will engage in challenging assignments, contributing to the design and implementation of solutions for projects including utility infrastructure, renewable energy facilities, and critical data center applications.
Your Impact
You will work on a diverse range of projects that includes utility substation design, renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
On a typical day, you will Design and develop high-voltage substations (12kV – 345kV) including physical layout, protection & control, grounding, and structural components.
Prepare engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications for new and existing substations.
Develop general arrangements, conduit layouts, grounding plans, buswork layouts, and equipment elevations.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI, and other industry standards.
Participate in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews.
Provide engineering support during substation construction, testing, and commissioning and troubleshoot and resolve design-related field issues.
Ensure that substation designs meet all applicable regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
Work closely with civil, structural, and electrical engineers, as well as project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.

Required skills and qualifications B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in utility substation design and renewable energy systems (wind, solar, and BESS)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or Adobe, and electrical design software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
High level of organization skills with ability to keep tasks and projects on schedule
