Job Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with physicians, CCO, and co‑workers regarding changes in patient condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Provide direct and indirect patient care in a long‑term acute care setting, managing complex conditions such as respiratory failure (ventilation, vapotherm, high‑flow, BiPAP, CPAP, nasal cannula), sedation/pain management, pressor management, cardiac/anti‑arrhythmic management, long‑term IV antibiotics, and chronic non‑healing wounds with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes.
Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
ICU, Critical Care, or Step‑Down experience preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Shift differentials are paid for all night and weekend shifts.
