Job Description Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a
Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
to join our
in-house therapy team . This role is ideal for a compassionate COTA who is passionate about helping residents improve
functional independence, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist with individualized treatment plans to restore and improve functional skills
Deliver therapeutic exercises and activities focused on ADLs and quality of life
Accurately document treatment minutes, progress notes, and resident responses
Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident goal-settingEducate residents and families on daily living strategies and safety techniques
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
Follow all federal, state, and facility regulations
Qualifications
Active COTA license/certification in the state
Skilled nursing, long‑term care, or rehab experience preferred (not required)
Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
