A Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position within a K‑12 school setting in Citrus Heights, CA. This role spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to support students with speech and language disorders through comprehensive evaluation and individualized therapy.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting speech and language challenges.
Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Provide direct therapy sessions that address individual speech and language goals.
Track and document student progress meticulously.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care.
Engage families and educate them on therapy processes and strategies.
Ideal Candidates Will Meet The Following Requirements
Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) preferred.
Experience working with pediatric or school‑age populations preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California.
This position offers comprehensive support, including a dedicated recruiter, paid training, professional development opportunities, and credentialing reimbursements.
