Pay Range:
$31,000 – $81,000 + $3,000 sign‑on bonus.
Job Description A certified bilingual SLPA or SLP‑CF will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, and/or social/emotional disabilities by administering speech therapy services in the home and community.
Requirements
Texas State SLPA license
Current CPR certification
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality care and meet patient and family needs by implementing speech therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the supervising therapist.
Assist pediatric patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning and improve independence by implementing skilled interventions.
Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to transfer therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine.
Ensure continuation of therapeutic plan post‑discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.
Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
