Join UK HealthCare as a registered nurse in our Trauma & Acute Care Surgery Services. This full‑time, 10th‑grade position is located on the 6th Floor Tower 200 of UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY. Salary ranges from $28.00 to $39.10 per hour. Job Title:

Active Kentucky RN license (or equivalent) and AHA Basic Life Support valid for at least 6 months after employment. Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50–100 pounds daily; stand, walk, and sit for long periods; exposure to communicable diseases, radiation hazards, and sharp instruments may occur. Shift:

Must work two 12‑hour night shifts per week (Friday/Saturday night or Saturday/Sunday night, 7 PM–7:30 AM). This is a weekend premium plan position. Job Summary

Registered nurses provide comprehensive, continuous, patient‑centered care to adults with trauma or acute surgical conditions, including blunt/penetrating trauma and non‑elective orthopedic surgeries. Responsibilities include assessment, documentation, planning, implementation, teaching, and evaluation of nursing plans; delivering direct care; ensuring patient satisfaction; training and delegating duties to nursing technicians; and adhering to University, federal, state, and local regulations. Collaboration with physicians and nursing staff enhances communication and patient outcomes. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
