Salary : $28.00-39.10 per hour

Required Education : ADN
Experience : No experience required
License : Active Kentucky RN license, TWP, provisional, or active compact state RN in good standing; AHA Basic Life Support valid for 6+ months after hire.
Physical Requirements : Must lift, carry, push, and pull 50‑100 lbs daily, stand/walk/sit long periods; exposure to communicable diseases, radiation, sharp instruments.
Shift : Two 12‑hour day shifts, 7 AM‑7:30 PM, every Saturday and Sunday. Weekend Premium Position (WEPP). Work 24 hrs, paid 32 hrs at regular rate.
Job Summary : Provide total, comprehensive, continuous, patient‑centered care. Assess, document, plan, implement, teach, develop, evaluate comprehensive nursing plan. Deliver direct care, ensure patient satisfaction, train and delegate duties for Nursing Care Technicians, adhere to University policies, federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to enhance communication and patient outcomes.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities : Knowledge of Maslow’s Basic Human Needs, Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns, Swanson’s Caring model; superb direct patient care & critical thinking; basic computer skills; professional communication with patients, families, staff, physicians; strong organization, prioritization, delegation; motivated, proactive, team‑oriented; technical proficiency and independent work.
Supervisory Responsibilities : No
Preferred Education/Experience : BSN + at least 1 year RN experience preferred
