Speech‑Language Pathologist Assistant – $42/hr – Port Angeles, WA – Full‑Time
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to assist a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. Responsibilities include clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment‑related activities within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP and/or physician.
Assignment Details
Location: Port Angeles, WA
Start Date: January 26, 2026
End Date: June 2026
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (Monday–Friday)
Modality: In‑person
Pay Rate: $42/hr
Contract Length: 24 weeks
Caseload: School‑based setting
Duties: Assist with therapy sessions, documentation, and support for students under SLP supervision
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an SLPA program with associate’s degree OR bachelor’s degree in speech‑language pathology or communication disorders
Completion of 100 hours of supervised field work or equivalent clinical experience
Current SLPA certification or licensure in Washington
One year of prior SLPA experience preferred
TB screening and health clearance
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
