Position: Project Manager — Commercial Interior & Construction Projects
Location: Austin, TX
Salary: up to $150,000 + benefits.
Role Overview As Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of commercial and interior construction projects from preconstruction planning through closeout, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional execution. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal leadership, guiding each project to successful completion.
Core Responsibilities
Manage commercial, medical and interior construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all phases (planning, procurement, execution, close-out) adhere to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Handle subcontractor procurement and coordination, project buyout, and procurement logistics.
Lead regular client meetings, maintain continuous communication, and proactively manage expectations.
Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
Maintain detailed project documentation and deliver consistent updates to both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Work closely with field superintendents to support operations, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and company quality standards.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, and design teams helping to secure repeat business.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience. Particularly in corporate interiors, medical, retail, hospitality, creative office, or similar sectors.
Strong technical competence paired with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
Proficiency in construction management tools and platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or equivalent).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience and project portfolio (up to $150,000 depending on background and track record).
