Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
As a Phlebotomist II you will be responsible for:
Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Engaging patients, creating trust, explaining procedures, and drawing specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately.
Verifying patient demographic info/initials, ensuring tubes are labelled in presence, and confirming name on label.
Maintaining required records and documentation.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in retail or service environment highly preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range: $21-$25.00 per hour.
