Woodfords Family Services is seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our center-based Community Supports (Expeditions) Program in Westbrook, Maine.
Position Summary As a DSP, you'll play a key role in supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build skills, explore their community, and live independent, fulfilling lives. You'll spend your days engaging in a variety of fun and meaningful activities—from bowling, to mini golf, to shopping, and more—while helping individuals achieve their personal goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Support with personal care and wellness routines
Promote advocacy and inclusion in community settings
Plan and share meals and activities that foster connection and choice

Opportunity Details
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week – No weekends & paid holidays off!
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am‑3:00pm; Tuesday & Thursday 8:30am‑5:30pm
Hourly: $17.00‑$19.00

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification, or successful completion of the full DSP course within 6 months of hire (woodfords will pay for training)
