Position Details
Therapist II – Part-Time, Day Shift – Remote – Pay: $30.04 - $42.43 per hour – Department: Employee Assistance Program – Location: West Orange, NJ (Remote).

Job Overview The Therapist II position ensures seamless support for One Source EAP clients, delivering both virtual and on-site critical incident debriefing CISD sessions, and managing Supervisory/Management Referrals from initiation to closure. This role works closely with the Administrative Director and Assistant Director to deliver these services, and includes learning to provide Intensive Clinical Case Management (ICCM) services for Supervisory/Management Referrals. The position includes coverage for 24/7 Crisis Management along with other members of the EAP Clinical Team, supportive contact with Access Center Specialists to maintain 24/7 intake capabilities, and conducting thorough needs assessments for RWJBH departments and external accounts to identify staffing and operational issues and recommending EAP services.
Qualifications
Masters in a Mental Health or Psychology field
Extensive knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment including higher levels of care (IOP, PHP, Rehab)
5 years experience in managing Critical Incident Stress Debriefings and Supervisory Referrals
10 or more years professional experience in the Mental Health field
Extensive knowledge of the impact of trauma and workplace conflict
Proven track record in designing, customizing, and delivering onsite and virtual training programs
Demonstrates excellence in communication, organizational skills, and project management
Experienced in the development of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and web-based programming
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
Certifications and Licenses Required
State License Eligible required
State License to practice LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW preferred
Scheduling Requirements

Essential Functions
Report to Administrative Director, One Source EAP
Work closely and receive clinical supervision from the Assistant Director
Full participation in Team Meetings
Must be able to work independently and collaborate with all One Source EAP team members
Support EAP services during customer onboarding and onsite internal and external benefit fairs
Deliver Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISDs) for sensitive events such as workplace violence and fatalities
Deliver Supervisory Referral services to employees with psychiatric or substance abuse challenges and communicate with the referring HR or RWJBH manager
Support crisis interventions and provide referral training to staff
Support the Access Center for efficient support operations
Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate EAP services for internal and external accounts
Support the management of cases with providers and advocate for higher-level care when necessary
Work with the Assistant Director to write return-to-work letters
Travel required
