Role Description This is a full-time (34-38 hours), on-site role for a Veterinary Technician at our facility located in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities include assisting our two veterinarians with animal care, preparing and maintaining medical equipment, monitoring anesthesia during procedures, providing post-operative care for pets, and educating clients about pet care and veterinary treatments. The Veterinary Technician will also ensure proper handling, feeding, and cleaning for animals under our care.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care, with a compassionate and patient approach
Knowledge and experience in Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology
Strong skills in Client Education to effectively communicate information about pet health and care
Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment with attention to detail
Certification as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent qualification preferred
Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is an asset
Compensation
$20-24/hr
