OB/GYN Clinic Nurse Practitioner – Barnes‑Jewish Hospital We are seeking an advanced practice Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care for women at all stages of life. The position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative practice environment within a leading academic medical center.

Base Pay Range $95,700.80 – $155,812.80 per year

Full‑time, 4‑10s 7 am – 5 pm

Preferred prior NP experience in OB/GYN, labor & delivery, postpartum or antepartum care

About the OB/GYN Clinic The OB/GYN clinic at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, offers comprehensive care for women at all stages of life. Services include routine gynecological exams, prenatal and postpartum care, high‑risk pregnancy management, fertility treatments, and minimally invasive surgery. The clinic is staffed by experienced specialists and provides patient‑centered care with cutting‑edge technology.

Role Purpose The Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse who utilizes a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in a specialized patient care area. The position assesses, diagnoses, prescribes, initiates plan of care and evaluates outcomes within a formal collaborative practice agreement with physician(s).

Responsibilities

Participates in professional development

Manages health care of patient populations with compassion through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician; prescriptive responsibilities reviewed by collaborative physician

Coordinates the care of patient populations in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education, coordination of services and referrals

Assesses development needs of staff and develops and delivers appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs

Develops treatment plans and treats patients with acute problems including illnesses and minor injuries following a predetermined protocol in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician

Minimum Requirements Education

Master’s Degree

NP Accredited program

Experience

No prior NP experience required

Licenses & Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN)

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Preferred Requirements Education

Doctorate in Nursing

Experience

2–5 years of NP practice
