Arbor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated
Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN)
to join our supportive and collaborative interdisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery while enjoying flexible scheduling in a positive care environment.
What You'll Do
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in accordance with physician orders
Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust based on patient progress
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehab team members, patients, and families
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and payer requirements
Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary meetings as needed
Provide education and training to staff, caregivers, and families to support continuity of care
Supervise and mentor SLP Assistants, Clinical Fellows, or students when applicable
What We're Looking For
Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current California SLP license in good standing
Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Casamba or PointClickCare a plus
