Overview We are a small company seeking an experienced ultrasound technician to expand our services. If you would like to add additional revenue to your paycheck and enjoy a flexible schedule, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities
Perform breast, vascular, pelvic, abdominal, echocardiogram, thyroid, carotid, transvaginal, transabdominal, venous reflux, deep venous thrombosis, renal AAA, duplex, and other diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental standards in a timely and efficient manner.
Produce examinations that meet image quality standards in accordance with department protocols; submit images for physician interpretation.
Verify accuracy of patient demographic information, pertinent clinical diagnosis, and required technical results; complete all technical data entry prior to the end of each shift.
Model service principles with a customer‑service focus, demonstrating innovation, service excellence, and teamwork to provide the highest quality care.
Provide patient education in written or verbal form before, during, and after procedures to reduce anxiety and enhance comfort.
Qualifications
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification is mandatory.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (required).
Experience & Education
High School or equivalent (Required).
Anatomy knowledge: 1 year (Preferred).
Documentation review: 2 years (Required).
Medical imaging: 4 years (Required).
Job Types & Pay Part‑time, Contract. $60.00 - $150.00 per hour.
