Summary Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area. The position requires a commitment of three days per week, with 12‑hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Responsibilities
Greets patients and visitors.
Monitors, answers, screens, and routes all telephone calls.
Generates emergency alerts, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers, and discharge.
Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies.
