Clinician II, Mental Health and Wellness Join Lone Star College to provide clinical and outreach services supporting the mental health and overall wellness of students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct clinical services including individual, group, and couples counseling; psychoeducation; assessments; triage; case management; crisis intervention; and referrals.

Support campus-wide mental health and wellness initiatives; provide outreach, training, and wellness programs for faculty, staff, students, and the broader community.

Utilize the electronic health record (EHR) system to chart, manage referrals, and document student progress.

Supervise graduate-level interns and collaborate with interdisciplinary team meetings.

Respond to campus crises and provide after‑hours coverage as required.

Qualifications

Master’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LPC, LCSW, LPA‑I, or LMFT license.

Ability to provide individual, couples, and group psychotherapy; intake assessment; risk assessment; crisis intervention; supervision; presentations; and workshops.

Knowledge of developmental issues of college students, multicultural concerns, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Preferred

LPC‑S, LCSW‑S, LPC‑S, LPA‑I + 5 year experience, or LMFT‑S.
