Key Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure quality and diagnostic usefulness.
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary to physicians and alert them to urgent problems.
Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
Review patient medical history, record imaging results, and coordinate care with various departments.
